Description
Board and batten shutters add farmhouse, cottage and coastal character to any home. Mastic board and batten shutters capture the look of real wood planks in a low-maintenance vinyl shutter that will not rot, crack or split.
Choose from three profiles: 3-board (11" closed or 12" open), 4-board (15" closed or 16" open), and a 4-board arch top (14") for arched windows. Standard lengths run from 31" to 81"; arch top lengths run from 41" to 85", measured at the tall side.
Shutters 51" and shorter have two horizontal battens; shutters 55" and longer have three.
Mounting hardware included: every pair of board and batten shutters ships with color-matched shutterplugs and steel mounting screws, so there is no need to order mounting hardware separately.
All Mastic shutters come pre-finished in 22 baked-on acrylic colors and can be repainted to match virtually any trim color.

Construction
Mastic standard vinyl shutters are injection-molded in one piece at the Mastic factory, so there are no joints that can come apart. That one-piece mold is also why standard shutters come in set sizes: building a mold for every possible size would not be practical.
Standard shutters are made ahead and kept in inventory until they are ordered, which is why they are often called "stock," "pre-made," or "one-piece" shutters. Once ordered, each shutter is painted in your color, the finish is baked on for durability, and every shutter is hand inspected before it ships.
