The raised panel style arched shutter top is a great addition to your Masticâ„¢ vinyl shutters and will help them to match your home's 1/2 round windows. This shutter arch top simply clips to the top of standard or custom Mastic shutters and fastens to the outside wall with either the included shutterplugs or painted screws.
Made to be a perfect color match with Masticâ„¢ shutters, these shutter arches will look great on any home whether or not it has arched windows.

Description
Raised Panel 1/4 round shutter arch tops are a great match for 1/2 round windows, but the number of applications doesn't stop there. Arch tops for vinyl shutters can also be used with the long side of the shutter next to the window to fit under the rafters on the second story without cutting the vinyl shutter material.
Simply add these shutter arches to the tops of your louvered or raised panel Mastic shutters and you will have an arched shutter to adorn your window. Installation is quick and easy and you can use either the included shutterplugs or included painted metal screws to install your arched shutters.
These shutter arch tops are color-coordinated to match Mastic vinyl exterior shutters and they are molded from the same high-density copolymer material, so you are sure to get a perfect match every time.

Important Measurement Information
The height of the exterior vinyl shutters you order with these arches should be equal to the window measurement.
To obtain the window measurement for half round windows, measure from the bottom of the window to the point where the window starts to arch, including the window trim. This is the measurement you should use when ordering the exterior vinyl shutters to use with these arch tops.
For example, if you measure your half round arched window and it is 59" from the bottom of the window trim to the point where the arch begins, the size of vinyl exterior shutters you order for these quarter round arch tops should be 59".
Remember - measure twice and order once!
Compatible Products
This louvered quarter round arch top is only compatible with the following Mastic exterior vinyl shutters when they are ordered in 14 5/8" widths. Use of this product with any other exterior window shutters is not recommended.

How do I remove the Shutterplugs from the vinyl shutters once they are in place?
Slide a chisel behind the vinyl shutter until it comes in contact with the Shutterplug. Make sure to keep the sharp edge of the chisel away from the wall. Give the chisel a sharp tap with a hammer and it will cut through the Shutterplug. After the shutter is removed, shear the remaining part of the Shutterplug flush with the surface and bore out the shank with a drill. Fill the hole with silicone to weatherproof. My exterior wall is uneven. How do I install my exterior vinyl shutters?
You can use ferrules (a short cylindrical pipe) as standoffs to keep your vinyl shutters stable. Simply paint them, trim to size, and mount them behind your exterior shutters. Do not to put wood blocks behind the vinyl exterior shutters because they will rot fairly quickly.
